Teammate chain
Link two footballers through their teammates.
We give you two footballers. You have to link them by naming footballers who played at a club with the previous one: from Messi to Maldini, from Pelé to Haaland…
You all play at once, each with your own chain. Whoever gets there first and in fewer steps wins. You can play 1 vs 1, with three or four players, in pairs (2 vs 2), against bots of four levels or in a private room with your friends.
How to play
- You get two footballers: the start and the finish.
- Name a footballer who played at a club or for the national team with the start one; then one who played with that one, and so on until you get there.
- Arriving gives 10 points with the shortest chain and one less per extra player; the first to arrive get +3, +2, +1.
- Name a wrong one and you sit out for 3 s. You can remove the last link and try another way.
- You only see how many players your rivals have named.
- In 2 vs 2, partners add up their points: red and yellow against blue and green.
Tips
- Look for a bridge: someone who played at many clubs for many years.
- Think about the finish player: who did they play with? Head there.
- If you name someone who played with the target, the chain closes by itself.
