Shape sudoku

A sudoku with shapes instead of numbers.

The same rules as sudoku, but with shapes: every row, every column and every box has one of each, without repeating. On easy it's 6×6 with 6 shapes; on medium and hard, 9×9 with 9.

You all play the same board and every shape you get right is yours. It's a good way to get started with sudoku and to train your eye. You can play 1 vs 1, with three or four players, in pairs (2 vs 2), against bots of four levels or in a private room with your friends.

How to play

You all play at the same time on the same sudoku, each with your own color.
Every row, every column and every box has one shape of each, without repeating. On easy, 6×6 with 6 shapes; on medium and hard, 9×9 with 9.
If you get it right, the cell is yours and everyone sees it. Whoever places the most shapes wins.
If you're wrong, you lose 1 point and sit out for 3 s.
In 2 vs 2, partners add up their points: red and yellow against blue and green.

Tips

Pick a shape and look for it all over the board: you'll quickly see where it's missing.
Tap a shape on the board to see where it's repeated.
Boxes that are almost full finish themselves.
